In this post, we will go through the Time Card feature, which enables users to track operational shift management separately from actual employee work logs.
1. To access the Time Card function, user should run a manual “sync” on the left tab

2. After clicking into Time Card, user can view all staff that clocked in/out on a particular day. Users are able to view Clock in/Clock out time of each staff, as well as the hours they accumulated on that cycle.

Note: Hours accumulated are calculated with minutes converted into decimal hour values.
3. To better manage and review attendance records, users are able to filter the data by “Date” and “Staff”.

4. To Clock in, staff may click on the “Clock In” button on the top right corner, and the Clock In pop-up will appear.
5. Staff can select themselves from the dropdown and enter their Staff Pin to clock in. Staff must ensure that they are the ones who log in to POS and started shift to clock in successfully.
Note: Staff Pin must be set at the backend. Visit Creating a New Staff Access for more information.

6. After the staff is successfully clocked-in, their record will be displayed under the Time Card.

7. To clock in another staff, select the “Clock In” button again.
Note: Same staff cannot clock in twice
8. To clock out any staff, click on the “Clock Out” button in the respective staff’s record, and fill in the Staff PIN.

Select “OK” for confirmation to clock out.

9. Staff should take note of the following scenarios:
a) (For clocking in only) Staff has clocked in already and is attempting to clock in again

Solution: Either clock out, before clocking in again, or do not clock in as status is already registered as “clocked-in”
b) (For clocking in/out) Staff PIN is entered incorrectly when clocking in/out

Solution: Clock in/out with the correct PIN corresponding to the specific staff
c) (For clocking in/out) POS is not connected to the internet and staff attempts to clock in/out

Solution: Ensure the POS is connected to the internet before attempting to clock in/clock out again
