In Kiosk Mode, the customer orders on the kiosk and the cashier can follow the order on the cashier screen.

As the customer adds items, the cashier screen shows the items with the subtotal, promotion, service charge, total tax and grand total.

Step 1.1: Open the menu
This is the default cashier screen in POS Mode. To access the settings, the cashier taps the three bars at the top of the screen. The customer screen shows the welcome screen when no products are selected.
Step 1.2: Switch to Kiosk Mode
The cashier selects Kiosk in the menu to change to Kiosk Mode. The customer screen stays the same.
Step 1.3: Kiosk Mode screen
This is the cashier screen in Kiosk Mode. A snackbar shows that the mode has changed. The customer screen changes to the default self-ordering kiosk screen.
Step 2: Touch to start
To start ordering, the customer touches the kiosk screen. If no products have been added yet, the cashier screen stays on its default screen.
Step 3: Select Dine In
The customer chooses the dining mode: Dine In or Takeaway.
Step 4: Browse the menu
The customer can browse the items and select different categories to see the menu. Categories are set up in the EPOS Backend under EPOS Apps > Kiosk & Web Ordering > Menu Category.
Step 5: Select an item
The customer selects an item, for example Nasi Lemak Royale.
Step 6: Add the item to the cart
The customer can enter the quantity and notes, then tap Add to Cart. For set menus and modifier products, see Set Menu and Modifier.
Step 7: Item added to the cart
Once an item is added, it appears on the cashier screen. On the kiosk, the Item(s) and Total area updates.
Step 8: Select View Order
The cashier screen shows the items in the cart with the price breakdown. When the order is ready, the customer taps View Order.
Step 9: View the order summary
The customer can check the order summary.
Step 10: Select Confirm
After checking the order summary, the customer taps Confirm to proceed to payment.
Step 11: Select Proceed with Payment
The customer sees the order summary and taps Proceed with Payment.
Step 12: Select Cash
The customer chooses a payment method, for example Cash. For the other payment methods, see the payment pages.
Step 13: Pending cash payment
After the customer taps Cash, the kiosk shows that the cash payment is pending. The cashier hears a sound notification and sees Pending Cash Payment.
Step 14: Collect the cash
The customer gives the cash to the cashier. The cashier receives the cash and enters the amount on the numpad.
Step 15: Order complete
After payment, the cashier screen shows the order breakdown, including the payment details and any change. The customer sees the Thank You screen and the receipt prints automatically.
