Modifier Configuration

Users can toggle on/off the availability modifier attached to the primary product on outlet level.

To achieve this, users can go to the Delivery Module and select the Modifier Availability from the top menu. 

Users can search for the modifier which they would like to change the availability of by clicking on the pencil icon

Users can toggle on/off based on the availability of the modifier in each outlet and click on the Save Changes button to update the availability.

Changes made will be shown as Available/Unavailable. 

For users who intend to use the Delivery module (Eg: Grabfood), users can use Add-On limits to configure their modifiers rather than using Option. However, for users who do not intend to use the Delivery module, users can refer to this guide on how to use Add-on and Option. 

Users can set a limit (Min and/or Max) on the Add-On Modifier Group Level. In order to implement a limit for the add on modifier, users can create a new modifier or edit an existing modifier. 

 

1. New Modifier

To create a new modifier, users can navigate to the Modifiers tab and click on the New Modifier Group button. 

a. Add-on

Users can set up a new modifier in the popup window. For users who would like to use the modifier as an Add-on, users can select Add-on button under Group Type and input their desired Min Quantity & Max Quantity by following the steps below. 

  1. Enter the Name of the Modifier Group.
  2. Insert the Description of the Modifier Group.
  3. Select the Position of this Modifier Group.
  4. Click on the Add-on button under Group Type.
  5. Turn on Enable Group Selection Limit.
  6. Enter the Min Quantity & Max Quantity of this Modifier Group.
  7. Click on the Create Modifier Group button to save the change.

Note: It is compulsory to fill up the Name and Group Type fields.

 

b. Option

For users who would like to use it as an option where it is compulsory for users to select a choice, users can select Add-on and input the Min Quantity & Max Quantity as 1.

  1. Enter the Name of the Modifier Group.
  2. Insert the Description of the Modifier Group.
  3. Select the Position of this Modifier Group.
  4. Click on the Add-on button under Group Type.
  5. Turn on Enable Group Selection Limit.
  6. Enter the Min Quantity & Max Quantity of this Modifier Group to 1.
  7. Click on the Create Modifier Group button to save the change.

Note: It is compulsory to fill up the Name and Group Type fields.

 

2. Existing Modifier

To edit an existing modifier group, users can navigate to the Modifiers tab. 

Users can search for their existing Modifier Groups.

  1. Search for Modifier Group.
  2. Click on the Search button.
  3. Modifier Group will be displayed.
  4. Click on the Edit text.

 

a. Add-on

For users who would like to use the modifier as an Add-on, users can edit the Group Type to Add-on and/or edit the Min & Max Quantity of this Modifier Group.

  1. Enter the Name of the Modifier Group.
  2. Insert the Description of the Modifier Group.
  3. Select the Position of this Modifier Group.
  4. Click on the Add-on button under Group Type.
  5. Turn on Enable Group Selection Limit.
  6. Edit the Min Quantity & Max Quantity of this Modifier Group.
  7. Click on the Save Changes button to save the change.

Note: It is compulsory to fill up the Name and Group Type fields.

 

b. Option

For users who would like to use it as an option where it is compulsory for users to select a choice, users can edit the Group Type to Add-on and input the Min Quantity & Max Quantity as 1.

  1. Enter the Name of the Modifier Group.
  2. Insert the Description of the Modifier Group.
  3. Select the Position of this Modifier Group.
  4. Click on the Add-on button under Group Type.
  5. Turn on Enable Group Selection Limit.
  6. Edit the Min Quantity & Max Quantity of this Modifier Group to 1.
  7. Click on the Save Changes button to save the change.

Note: It is compulsory to fill up the Name and Group Type fields.
