Enable/Disable Backend Quickpick

Users can manage and update Quickpick layouts remotely from the EPOS backend.

💡Currently, users can choose to edit Quickpick either from the backend or the frontend, but not both at the same time. This setting applies to all outlets connected to this backend.

For example:
Scenarios where most devices use backend Quickpick while a single device uses POS Quickpick (e.g. 19 devices on backend Quickpick and 1 device on POS Quickpick) are not supported.

Under EPOS Backend > Setup > Quickpick Settings

⬇ Explore the different behaviors of the Backend Quickpick by toggling between tabs below.⬇

How to Enable Quickpick

To enable Quickpick edit from backend, follow the following steps:

→ The POS will revert back to the POS original QuickPick layout – previous layout on the POS before backend editing was enabled
→ Any backend-edited templates will not be displayed on the POS if backend editing is turned off

When edit Quickpick on Backend is disabled, the Quickpick Settings tab on the POS will reappear
