This August, several features across our POS, Android POS, Backend and Soundbox have implemented features to enhance the experience of both the users and customers.

As of Soundbox version v2.1.46, users can now change the soundbox mode between Stand Alone and Integration.
The table below shows how to change the Soundbox Device Mode.
Start at Soundbox Home Screen | ![]() |
Click “F1” to go to the “Settings” page. | ![]() |
Click “F1” two more times and then click “Enter” to go to the “Device Mode: page. | ![]() |

A new Cash Movement Report is now available. Cash Movement Report contains the Cash In/Cash Out activities for the current shift.
Cash Movement Report consists of:
- Date and time
- Staff
- Type of cash movement
- Amount of cash movement
- Note (if any)
Users can print out the Cash Movement Report for the current shift on the following screens:
- Cash Management Screen
- End Shift Screen
A new Payment Lists Report is now available. It provides a detailed breakdown of all payment transactions, including split payments and partial payments, making it easier for users to view the actual amount received by each payment method.
User can access the Payment Lists Report from:
📍 V5 Backend > Reports > Payment Report > Payment Lists Tab
Key highlights:
When filtering by a specific payment method, only the exact amount received via that method is shown.
Payment method will be displayed as Outstanding when transactions are partially paid.
Payment status will show as Pending until the full amount is received.
Users can export the Payment Lists Report to CSV for reconciliation purposes.
How to Update
For POS related features, user will need to update the POS to the latest version, version v2.543.
For Backend related features, users are not required to perform any actions, the new features would automatically be updated.
